Easy Like Tax Time

Today mom has been working all day with papers all over the place in piles. First, she paid bills and made cranky sounds coming out of her mouth. Then, she got out a plastic box that said "T.A.X.E.S. 2007" and she told us we probably should go take a nap because she was likely to get crankier and grumpier and she did!

Tommy being helpful and laying on the "to be shredded" pile of stuff.

I think mom's O.K. now. She fed us supper and let us go outside on the balcony and sit in the sun spots and she even told us we were really good kitties. She says she still has some more T.A.X.E.S. stuff to do but will do that next weekend. I'm glad our mom got over the grumpies so fast. Hope you and all your humans have a wonderful week to come!

The Blue Lagoon

Here is a better picture of my blue lagoon. From time to time mom puts one or more of my duckies into it and lets me play with them.

Thirsty Thursday

This is my "Blue Lagoon". Way back when Tommy had his birthday party, mom put this big blue glass bowl out with duckies in it so we could play my favorite game called "Dunk the Duckies". Since I loved it so much and like to get my drinks of water there, mom said we could keep it there as long as I was responsible and didn't wade in it, or splash in it.

Water tastes best from my blue lagoon. You can't really see how big it is from this angle. Don't tell but I like to splash in it from time to time when mom's not looking.

The Balcony is Open

Well, actually the balcony was only open for about 10 minutes Saturday. It's been too cold most of the winter and every time we asked to go out mom would say "No, not till it's warmer". So, Saturday she let us out for a little while and then said it was time to come in cuz it was getting too windy!

She was right, the wind wasn't too bad Saturday but on Sunday it was so windy I had to hide under the bed for awhile. Hope everyone has a great week!

Looking Forward to the Weekend

I haven't been able to make blog entries for awhile cuz mom has been a little sick. It's just a nasty cold she says but she has had to go to work anyway. Since the weekend is almost here I think we'll get a lot of snuggle time in since she says she's too pooped to ski.

Can't wait for weekend snoozing!
