Wash Day Wednesday
Tommy and I love wash day because we get to play in the blue mesh basket. Life can't get much better than this.

Hide and Seek
This weekend mom stayed home instead of going skiing like she'd planned. She had a cold. I don't understand what that is because when we snuggled with her she felt all hot and toasty. Anyway, in-between naps and snuggling we played hide-and-seek. I found a really good place to hide under my comfy quilt Aunt A made for me when I was littler. I don't know how Tommy found me so quickly.

Where Is My Favorite Toy?
I can't believe it. Tommy took one of my toys and I looked and looked and looked and couldn't find it. It was one of my top hundred favorite toys. Then, after an exhaustive search, it was right there. Right on top of my crunchy cat food. Tommy that's not funny. Hiding my toys in plain sight is not nice. Funny maybe, but not nice.

I Feel Pretty--Oh So Pretty
O.K. so I was feeling a little jealous with all the nice comments about how wonderful Tommy's tummy looked. While I admit he is fun to play with and I actually like him for a brother, I'm the beautiful one. Right?
P.S. Mom said to tell everyone those aren't real flowers in the background. We can't have real flowers cuz I eat them.

My e-mail is down
We've got nine e-mail messages but cannot access them because something is wrong with our the e-mail and tool bar part of the Earthlink connection. I think maybe mom hit a wrong key and made it go spastic. Unfortunately, she is "technologically challenged" so she has yet to figure out how to fix it. In any event, we can't get access to any messages until mom figures it out and gets it fixed. I can still blog though and at least we can visit other kitty sites and see how everyone is doing.

Treat Time
Tommy didn't mean to be bad. We just misunderstood. Now, you tell me. Wouldn't you have misunderstood too? See, mom went shopping and was gone a long long time. When she came back she had lots of plastic bags in her hands (the kind she recycles and uses for kitty litter). She put the bags on the floor right next to the kitchen and said "O.K. furry felines, I've got to run back down to the car and get the rest of the bags. When I get back I'll give you a treat". When she left Tommy suggested that we help mom find the bag with the treats while she was getting the rest of the bags. We sniffed and it didn't take long to find the wonderful treats. Tommy pulled the treats out of the bag with his teeth and kind of accidentally bit a little chunk out of the package. When mom got back she said kind of loudly "What are you doing?!" Tommy and I told her we were just helping her with the treats. She said those were not the treats she meant. She meant the "Temptations" kitty treats. How were we to know?
Later she did apologize and told us she could see how the meat treats were just too much of a temptation for us to handle. I think she should have given us some of the meat treat.

Better Late Than Never
This is what it looked like out of our window after the New Year Storm of 2007. I like snow when the sun is shining. Tommy was pretty excited too.
This is also where I live but I couldn't see this snowman from my window. Mom said she thought he was trying to have a picnic with the other snowmen at our apartment complex. Sounds fun wish I had been invited.
This is my kitty grass on the window sill of my bedroom. I share with Tommy. Oh, and there is the first sunset after the New Year Storm. I sure hope Walgreen's found the family whose vacation pictures got mixed up with my snow pictures and kitty pictures got their CD back. Mom took it back to Walgreen's and they made her a new CD because she got the right negatives and prints, just the wrong CD.

Whose Vacation?
I'm still waiting for mom to buy me my digital camera but that's o.k. because she gets these cameras that she calls "cheapo throw away cameras". Then, when there are no more pictures, she takes them to Walgreens and asks them for one set of prints and a CD. It's worked pretty well for me until now.
I was all excited Friday evening when mom told me she had taken the last kitty pics to Walgreens and I would be able to show my new cat friends my favorite mousie toy (the one Tommy keeps hiding from me) and some snow pictures from the big storm and other pictures of how pretty I am. Well, mom showed me the prints and I picked which ones I wanted her to post. Then, when mom put the CD into the computer it started loading and I heard her say "What!!!". It was loading 127 pictures and she had only turned in one cheapo throw away camera with 27 pictures! So we got some other family's vacation pictures. I was not happy. Mom talked to the manager at the Walgreens and late yesterday evening the man called and said he made a new CD of the right pictures. I think the manager should give me some cat toys to compensate for not getting to post my pictures.

Tommy Types
Hi Tommy here. Shilgiah said I could post this morning. I told her she hadn't posted since last year. She said there was nothing exciting to post about except snow and more snow and more snow. Well, that should stop us from posting. Mom was off work for a week because it was called "use it or lose it time". I wasn't sure what that means but maybe it's like when I don't use my toys Shilgiah takes them away and hides them and then it's like I've lost them. Got to go find my mousie now. Shilgiah says it's hers and she hides it so I've got to go search for it.
