Whispering

Mom asked us to be quiet while she was working on something and so I was just whispering stuff to Tommy when mom walked in, said we look so sweet, got the flashy box out and took this picture.

Tommy, you are my favorite brother...O.K. you're my only brother... but still...I'm just letting you know.

So Strange

Question: Mom, Why do you keep sunflowers in your ski boots?

Answer: Because it keeps the dust out of them when it's not ski season.
They aren't real sunflowers. We can't have real flowers because we have been know to attempt to eat them.

Ruckus in the Night

O.K. so see how innocent Tommy looks on his favorite spot. Well, at 11:59 last night he decided to chase me through the house and up and over the couches and little round table with the cat book on it.

After he chased me for awhile, then I was chasing him up and over and around and through the house. Then, I hid and waited for him to come around the corner and pushed off of the little table with all my might to pounce on him. That's when "crash-bang-boom" the little table with the cat book on it fell over. I didn't mean to wake mom up honest. Luckily, the glass top is very thick and didn't break when the table fell over. Mom should have thanked me for that instead of yelling.

Looking Forward

The weekend is coming and I'm always happy cuz mom is happy. Mom says we will try to build in something "spontaneous and fun". Mom says she usually has to carefully schedule her spontaneity. My mom kind of overly plans but not this weekend.

Remembering

I was thinking about when Tommy and I first met. Well, I had been reading Henry Helton's blog and he let his new brother Clyde blog and tell his story. So that got me thinking about when Tommy first came. Well, he had to be in isolation in the study for two weeks because he had some nasty germs that he might give me. Then we got to meet face to face.

Well, as you can tell I wasn't too thrilled that he had invaded my space but soon I realized how much fun it was to have him around. The first thing he taught me was how to take off our collars in less than 10 seconds. After about a week mom gave up and let us be without collars. It's much more fun without collars cuz I can sneak up on Tommy and pounce.

The floor painting

This is a picture of me with my favorite picture. When we moved here last summer mom wasn't sure what to do with this picture. With the arrangement of the living room and dining room there just wasn't a good place to hang the picture.

So, mom just put it on the floor leaning under the opening (sometimes called the breakfast bar but we never eat breakfast there) to the kitchen. After a few days, I told mom that I love the painting on the floor cuz I can hide in the space behind it and feel all comfy or I can sit in front of it and look all beautiful. I love my floor painting.
