Another Hiding Place
One of my favorite places to nap is on the shelf with all the soft clean place mats. My mom really doesn't like it cuz then she has to wash the place mats all over again. Once I get up into the cubby it's so nice and comfy and I just love it. I think mom should get a clean baby blanket and spread it over the stuff she doesn't want my white fur on and then we'd both be happy.

There's no reason why a girl shouldn't have what she needs to get the best nap possible. If you need a blanket, you must ask for one!

We agree with you. The cat should always have his/her way. Just cover the placemats mom!
Your mom ought to be happy your aren't napping on dark stuff. At least your fur matches, almost. But what a great spot. I say that the Cat always has dibs on the good spots.
