Tommy's Tummy

Tommy here. Shilgiah said I could blog today so since it's Tuesday I thought I'd show a picture mom took of my tummy. I was trying to take a nice nap and mom was hovering above the couch with the flashy box. Boy, that's annoying when you are trying to catch some Z's.

I'm trying to get some shut eye...quit flashing that thing in my face!

A Kiss for Raven

Mom and I looked in the big box of pictures and found my favorite one of me and Raven. It was from when I first made friends with her. She was a great big black lab who was the most gentle and sweet woofie in the world. I will miss her a lot.

I love you Raven. I'll see you again one day.

Goodbye Raven

My best dog friend, Raven, died yesterday. My mom helped Raven's mom take her to the vet. She was very very old and her body had almost quit working so Raven's mom knew it was time to help her to the rainbow bridge. My mom told Raven's mom about the rainbow bridge story and also shared the poem Ariel shared on her blog about Pumpkin. Raven's mom said that helped a lot. I wanted to post a picture of Raven and me but I don't have one of Raven on the computer. So, I'll try to get mom to find one in our picture box and have it scanned and then post it.

HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY

Tommy and I are happy that the humans are celebrating independence today. Being independent creatures, we think the humans should celebrate it every day. I began my celebration of the day by sitting on Tommy and looking out the window at the birds flying past.

Octopus

Mom put my red and white octopus on my head and then laughed and laughed. I humored her by tolerating this indignity because she's had a lot of stress at work lately.
