One Hundred

Guess what! This is my 100th blog post. My first entry was on November 25, 2006. I am having so much fun making new cat friends and I just am so happy that I am one of the blogging cats in the world. I also want to thank my Aunt A and William for getting me started and encouraging my mom to be brave and let me blog. This is my favorite picture of me in my old park.

I have taken the path less traveled and that has made all the difference.

Friday Flowers

My mom loves flowers but for a long time when I was little we couldn't have them cuz I would eat them. Now that I am much more mature we can have them.

Feeling Fine

For the past few days mom has been following me around feeling my ears, feeling my tummy and giving me this stuff called Laxatone which is for elimination and prevention of hair balls. It's tuna flavor and I really love it. All this because I was meowing so much. Oh yeah, and also because I kind of threw up some kitty grass. Well, I was having a little tummy trouble but mostly I just wanted more attention. And Tommy is right, I am not fond of the feel of the new kitty litter.

Oops. I just ate the kitty grass too fast.

Now I'm feeling fine and just enjoying the morning sun and

watching for my morning bird friends to say hi.

Tommy Tuesday

Hi Tommy here. I think I have a headache. While I generally have fun with my sister, lately she's been quite the chatterbox. She just talks and talks and talks sometimes quite loudly to mom and to me. She wakes me and mom up in the middle of the night sometimes. Unfortunately mom isn't that great at translating cat to English so she's all worried that something is wrong. Mom told me she's going to take Shilgiah to the vet if the excessive meowing doesn't abate soon. Hehehe. I'm pretty sure my sis is just not happy with the new kitty litter that is supposed to be the best but neither of us like the way it feels on our paws.

Please Shilgiah just be quiet and let me sleep.

Embarrassed

I have been able to keep my shoe fetish secret until now. Mom caught me loving her shoes and took a picture. She said it was cute that I loved to rub and caress her shoes but why hadn't I displayed this behavior ever before. Because it's embarrassing! So, even though I didn't want the whole world to know about my love of mom's footwear, she said she was going to put a picture on my blog anyway so I might as well write about it.

It's my blog and I didn't give my mom permission to embarrass me! I'm going to find a way to embarrass my mom when she least expects it. Revenge will be sweet.

Wordy Wednesday

I would like to nominate my mom for the Human Procrastinator of the Year Award. O.K., this is what happened. Everyone knows that I am the primary writer of my blog, occasionally allowing Tommy a comment, but it is my mom who puts up the pictures like this one below.

Well, back around Independence Day, my friends Ariel and Trixie nominated me for a "Rockin' Girl Award" and I was all excited but mom was very busy that week and said we'd post the bright pink insignia over the weekend. Well, then that was the weekend my best woofie friend went to the rainbow bridge and we were both sad...then when mom didn't know quite how to get the insignia from photo bucket and so she put it off and forgot.

Then, more recently Kimo and Sabi nominated me for a Schmoozing award. Well, what's your excuse this time mom? Stressed out at work again?

Forget the insignias. I want to let you know that I was and am delighted to receive the Rockin Girl Award and the Schmoozing Award. Thank you Ariel and Trixie for the RGA one and Thank you Kimo and Sabi for the Schmoozing Award.

I will try to get my mom more punctual in the future. We all just love reading the other blogs and commenting and having fun. Have a wonderful rest of your week.
